Aston Martin has expanded its two-wheeled portfolio with the introduction of the AMB 002. Unlike its predecessor, the AMB 001, which was designed exclusively for track use, this new model is fully road-legal. Developed in collaboration with Brough Superior, the motorcycle incorporates design cues familiar to Aston Martin enthusiasts, including the signature side strakes, rear light blades, and premium leather upholstery.
The design team has focused on achieving a refined aesthetic, utilizing “fluid lines, compact proportion and precisely sculpted carbon fibre body elements.” Beneath the bodywork, the bike is powered by a 1.0-litre four-stroke V-Twin engine. This unit produces 130bhp and 81lb ft of torque, with tuning specifically calibrated to provide strong low and mid-range performance. The engine construction features a CNC-machined billet case and utilizes various aerospace-grade materials.
Engineering efficiency is a highlight of the AMB 002, which features a lightweight titanium frame milled from a solid billet that weighs only 5kg. This contributes to a total vehicle weight of 190kg, placing it firmly within the superbike category. The chassis also incorporates a double wishbone suspension system, drawing inspiration from the brand’s engineering.
Production of the AMB 002 will be strictly limited, with only 300 units scheduled for manufacture. While the motorcycle is set to join the ranks of the company’s exclusive limited-edition vehicles, official pricing details have yet to be announced.
