Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has pledged that Ankara will sustain its diplomatic efforts to guarantee the security of Lebanon, promising to provide all necessary assistance to foster peace and stability in the nation. The commitment was made on Friday during a high-level meeting in Istanbul between President Erdogan and Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam.
The two leaders gathered at the Vahdettin Mansion, where they were welcomed with an official ceremony before taking a brief look at the Istanbul skyline.
